Christopher Stebly art mural

A gift from HOSA to Ocean Springs dedicated to
Chandra Nicholson and Larry Cosper

HOSA is thrilled to announce that artist Christopher Stebly has completed an exciting original art mural for Marshall Park. This new public art mural is an updated, full-color version of Chris’s popular “Ocean Springs: Past, Present and Future” mural, once painted on a building wall at Bowen at Washington.  Sadly, that artwork deteriorated and was lost. Learning from that experience, HOSA contracted with Chris to paint on three 4’ x 8’ panels, which will be framed & installed near the flagpole in the Park. The installation design plan has been created by Tall Architects. Stebly’s design features the important qualities of Peace, Respect, and Education.

In memory of Larry Cosper & Chandra Nicholson

HOSA will dedicate this exciting art installation to the spirit of community & friendship displayed by two beloved HOSA leaders, Chandra Nicholson and Larry Cosper. Both Chandra & Larry were collectors of Chris Stebly’s artwork and loved the original mural. Larry and Chandra’s leadership in HOSA has been vital to the success of this organization. They both loved HOSA & Marshall Park. HOSA is honored to dedicate this art installation to these extraordinary Ocean Springs citizens.

Mark and Madison Talley, the award-winning architect/owners of TALL Architects here in Ocean Springs, have joined the HOSA team on this effort. Their design for installation of the three panels, shown below, is exciting.
